Maria Cavalluzzi

Maria Cavalluzzi, a principal of the Law Offices of Cavalluzzi & Cavalluzzi, is recognized in the Los Angeles legal community as a tireless advocate for victims of personal injury with an established record of attaining successful results on behalf of her clients.  She represents clients who have suffered permanent or serious injuries in vehicle accidents, intentional torts, or due to defective products.  Ms. Cavalluzzi has over two decades of experience in both personal injury and criminal defense law and is known for her passionate pursuit of justice on behalf of her clients.

Maria Cavaluzzi is a former Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney and former Public Defender, providing her with a unique understanding of the criminal justice system.  Ms. Cavalluzzi's work for the District Attorney's Office and the Public Defender's Office provided her with extensive trial experience and the opportunity to establish herself as a successful litigator.  Her criminal defense experience also offers her unique insight into the litigation of personal injury claims involving a criminal offense, such as accidents caused by a drunk driver, victims of an assault or battery, or victims of a hit-and-run driver.  Ms. Cavaluzzi has the requisite experience to formulate creative strategies to obtain a successful resolution to these often difficult and challenging cases.

Ms. Cavalluzzi received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles in 1987.  She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.  Ms. Cavalluzzi is admitted to practice in the State of California.  She is currently a member of Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Italian American Lawyer's Association.

Ms. Cavalluzzi is also highly regarded throughout the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) communities in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles.  She welcomes the opportunity to advocate on behalf of members of the LGBT community, as well as the diverse population of Greater Los Angeles.
